Construction sites shall appoint a Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) as per the requirement of the relevant act/regulations under the jurisdiction of DOSH. SSS must ensure a high level of safety compliance to the regulated standards outlined by the government and company. Personnel qualified to be a SSS must first complete the SSS competency course carried out by the DOSH registered instructor and pass the examination conducted by the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) or DOSH accreditated institution.
